Research Symposium and Educational Day
SSBP represents a safe and welcoming community for all participants at all events, including attendees, speakers, exhibitors, staff members, volunteers, and other associated parties.
This event is planned as an in-person meeting. Your presence and participation in any portion of the SSBP 27th International Research Symposium and Educational Day, 2025, constitute an agreement that you will abide by the SSBP code of conduct. The SSBP is committed to fostering a professional, respectful, and inclusive environment at its Annual Meeting and associated events.
By registering for and attending the SSBP 2025 International Research Symposium and Educational Day:
I agree to refrain from:
- Disrespectful, discriminatory, or harassing behaviour - whether verbal, written, or visual
- Inappropriate use of personal or confidential information, including attempts to publicly identify or target individuals without their consent
- Disruption of talks or meeting activities
I agree to comply with any health and safety protocols in place at the time of the event
I understand that I may photograph slides for personal reference but such images of slides must not be shared publicly (e.g., on social media) or reproduced in any form without the express permission of the presenter.
If you have any concerns during the event, please speak confidentially to a member of the organising team at the registration desk so we can respond appropriately.

The Society for the Study of Behavioural Phenotypes (SSBP) is an international, interdisciplinary research society for studying the development, learning and behaviours of individuals with genetic disorders and ways of helping to improve lives. The society is registered as a charity in the UK (No. 1013849) and was set up in 1987.
